Level 2 Background Screening

The Level 2 Background Screening is a comprehensive criminal background check that includes fingerprint-based checks for:

  • Statewide criminal history records (Florida Department of Law Enforcement).
  • National criminal history records (Federal Bureau of Investigation).

All Level 2 screenings must accompany a Local criminal records check through local law enforcement agencies and search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the current or prospective employee resided during the immediately preceding 5 years.  This check is processed by the requestor through the HireRight Portal.
