An Academic Credential Evaluation (ACE) is a crucial document obtained from an organization that assesses foreign education to determine its equivalence to a U.S. degree.
For immigration purposes, USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) mandates the submission of an official ACE equivalency for degrees earned outside the U.S.
Departments must confirm whether the employee holds a degree earned within the U.S. or not. If the qualifying degree(s) was not obtained in the U.S., the department should inform the employee of the need to obtain an ACE evaluation. Additionally, the department should provide the employee with a list of NACES-accredited evaluators for their convenience.
Here is the link to the NACES list of evaluators.

NOTE: Any credentials that are not originally in English will also require official translations. Personal translations by the employee are not acceptable.
